A downloadable game for Windows

Your dear friend Linus has always dreamed of going to France, but travel is expensive and complicated! Fortunately, you've got a Big Boot and all the necessary technique to send your little buddy to Paris with a swift kick up his rear end! But it'll take some practice, and he might need a little help with personal care in the meantime...

"Punt Pal!" is a Virtual Pet game smashed together with a classic Launch game from the earlier days of Flash. Each phase involves giving Linus food to provide bonuses to his stats, while being attentive of his needs, then kicking him into the next ZONE to level him up, increase his stats, and unlock new things to buy! Once you've beaten the game by making it to Paris, you can continue to play for a high score!

Clever, charming, and polished take on the launcher genre. Integrating the virtual pet mechanics into the launch variables was an excellent choice. I second the comment regarding the evolving music scheme as a nice touch.

I played this one until I finally made it to Paris. Colour me surprised when I actually overshot the city…! Now it’s time to mess around with the mechanics a bit more, like directly vertical and horizontal launches.

I had a lot of fun with this one so far. Thank you. Best of success on your future projects. :)

Thank you for the kind comment!!

very fun! i love little management games like this; overshooting the zone a lot didn't even feel like something bad or a "loss" per se, it just made me more determined to manage how i played the game and adjust accordingly! the progression of the music as you level up is a very nice touch as well, and i thoroughly enjoyed everything about the game! very well-done for the timeframe you were given! would definitely play again in the future!!!!

Thank you :>
